I am giddily excited to be bringing you a Mount wedding that was recently featured on Style Me Pretty (this is the second time for us!)  Sara and Eddie were wed at The Mount last May. It was a day that was traditional, classic, and unforgettably stunning.  Sara took the design into her own hands by doing all the address calligraphy herself and creating a painted version of the Lime Walk (the aerial hedge in The Mount’s garden) for her invitations and programs. It rained on the big day, but that didn’t keep the dedicated couple from heading outside to take some shots. I’m so glad they did because it led to some gorgeous photos by Elario Photography which you can swoon over at Style Me Pretty Massachusetts. Here’s the link to Eddie and Sara’s gallery.

Sara, on what drew them to The Mount:

“The Mount in Lenox, MA (Edith Wharton’s home) was love at first sight. From the moment you enter the grounds and travel down this windy driveway you will be in AWE. But, my breath was really taken away when The Mount appears behind the trees. The gardens are what attracted us, but with rain in the forecast we were able to take in the true glory inside of Wharton’s estate. (But, sneak outside for a few shots in the rain!)”
