The Mount, built by Edith Wharton in 1902, is a historic house museum, cultural center, and public park.

We present over 100 programs year-round. The gardens and grounds are free and open to the public year-round, from dawn to dusk.

  • The House, Terrace Café, and Bookstore are closed for the season. We look forward to welcoming you back in May 2026!
