We are open for tours Wednesday through Monday! Advanced booking is recommended. Café, Bookstore, and Main House are closed on Tuesdays. Our grounds are free and open daily, dawn to dusk, unless otherwise posted. On September 25, the house will close at 1pm, and the grounds will close at 2pm. Please review and follow our Health and Safety Guidelines while on property.

We offer self-guided and guided tours of the Main House between 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. The grounds and gardens are open, dawn to dusk, unless otherwise posted. Please note, we are closed for tours on Tuesdays. The Bookstore and the Terrace Café are also closed. The grounds will remain open.

All onsite exhibits are included with admission to the Main House. You do not need to purchase a ticket to visit the Terrace Café or Bookstore. The grounds and gardens are currently open, free-of-charge, from dawn to dusk.

Discount Programs

The Mount is pleased to participate in Bank of America’s Museums on Us program. Visitors who present an active Bank of America or Merrill Lynch debit or credit card and a valid photo ID will receive free general admission on the first full weekend (consecutive Saturday and Sunday) of each month. Admission is nontransferable and for the cardholder only.


The Mount welcomes visitors of all abilities and backgrounds. If you have a mobility, visual, or hearing impairment, we are here to help. Caregivers are admitted free-of-charge. The Mount offers handicapped parking and accessible restrooms at the Main House and Stable, and an elevator in the Main House.

The Mount is a Massachusetts Cultural Council UP designated organization welcoming participants of all abilities.
