South Berkshire Kids and The Mount, Edith Wharton’s Home, welcome you to enjoy a STORYWALK ® through the grounds at The Mount.

Help us celebrate the season of Thanks!

Enjoy the pleasures of reading and nature as you explore the grounds of The Mount. Pages of the classic children’s book Over the River and Through the Wood by Lydia Maria Child and illustrated by Matt Tavares will be posted along the Woodland Walk. 

Feel free to roam the rest of the property with your family before or after your walk. Keep in mind that paths at The Mount include uneven terrain and are not always suitable for strollers or people with accessibility concerns. 

Please note that upon registration, you will be signing up for a time slot to walk through the story. One ticket registers your entire family. If you cannot make your reservation and need to cancel, please call us at 413-551-5100, so we can open your space for another family!
