July 21, 6 pm: Mariah Fredericks's The Lindbergh Nanny is a powerful, propulsive novel about America’s most notorious kidnapping through the eyes of the woman who found herself at the heart of this deadly crime.

August 18, 6 pm: In Claire McMillan’s Alchemy of a Blackbird, she reimagines the dynamic female friendship that became an artistic collaboration between two giants of the art world and their mutual muse, the Tarot.

June 23, 6 pm: At once an immersive story and a brilliant literary puzzle, HernanDiaz in Trust, winner of a 2023 Pulitzer Prize in Fiction, engages the reader in a quest for the truth while confronting the deceptions that often live at the heart of personal relationships, the reality-warping force of capital, and the ease with which power can manipulate facts.

Biography

Mariah Fredericks was born, raised, and still lives in New York. She graduated from Vassar College with a degree in history. She is the author of the Jane Prescott mystery series, which has twice been nominated for the Mary Higgins Clark Award. Her latest novel, The Lindbergh Nanny, has been nominated for an Agatha Award and was hailed by Airmail as one of the Best Mystery Books of 2022.
