STORYWALK® & Concert with MISTER G

Latin GRAMMY Award-winning musician, activist, author, and educator—MISTER G—fuses music and storytelling with his picture book Señorita Mariposa. Illustrated by Marcos Almada Rivero, the story chronicles the extraordinary migration of monarch butterflies from Canada to Mexico. 

In partnership with South Berkshire Kids, visit our StoryWalk in September featuring the book. MISTER G will perform multi-lingual songs and sign books after the concert.

  • The StoryWalk & concert are Free! Registration is not required to attend this free event.
  • Families are encouraged to bring a picnic to enjoy on the grounds before or after the concert. Kids’ snacks will also be available.
  • The concert will take place under a large outdoor tent, rain or shine.

Ben Gundersheimer is hailed as “a bilingual rock star” by the Washington Post, he was dubbed MISTER G by his young students while pursuing a Master of Education degree. His dynamic, interactive bilingual performances aim to dissolve borders and foster cross-cultural connections.
