Today I want to introduce you to Deanna and Dave, two lovely people who will be getting married at The Mount this coming June.  They first discovered The Mount when they joined us for one of our spooky, after hours Ghost Tours, “I grew up in the Berkshires and I’ve always known of The Mount, but never officially toured The Mount until I went on a ghost tour there several years ago,” Deanna told us, “Even though it was fall and the gardens were not in full bloom, I fell in love with the beauty of the grounds and the mansion just felt magical.  I knew right then that this was the place I wanted to be married.  When Dave and I visited together, we both agreed that this would be the perfect place for us to tie the knot. We can’t wait to have our wedding here in June!”

“Dave proposed to me on his birthday, which made the engagement all the more of a surprise.  I had spent the day away from home at a Bruins game.  I returned home later that evening to find Dave and our dog, Ollie dressed in matching tuxedos.  Ollie greeted me at the door with a stuffed bear holding a box with the ring inside.  I proceeded into the living room, where Dave was waiting on one knee to ask, “Will you Marry Me?”  I love that both of my favorite boys  (Dave and Ollie) were involved in the proposal.  Ollie is going to be the ring bearer at our wedding!”
