Library Conversations: Wharton’s Men

In this conversation, The Mount’s Director of Interpretation, Anne Schuyler, and Librarian, Nynke Dorhout, will lead a thought-provoking exploration of Wharton’s library, focusing on three of the most influential men in her life – Henry James, Walter Berry, and Morton Fullerton. This program examines books related to these men, either ones they wrote or ones they gave to each other. We will include a special look at a newly acquired, very rare volume of letters from Henry James to Walter Berry published in 1928 by Black Sun Press.

This program is supported by a grant from the Bridge Street Fund, a special initiative of Mass Humanities.
