Join us on the beautiful grounds of The Mount as we introduce TreeSisters: Women Seeding Change – an extraordinary new organization, led by women, with the mission of reforesting the tropics and rebalancing our planet.
We’ll meet in the grove of trees by Edith Wharton’s Italian Garden for an event hosted by Amber Chand, Anni Crofut, Alyssa Wright and Jennifer Browdy. During the event, you’ll learn more about TreeSisters reforestation revolution and vibrant global community. The program features a powerful new performance, “The Grove Dance,” choreographed by Anni Crofut with dancers and choir from Moving Arts Exchange.
Bring a blanket and/or low lawn chair as the performance will take place on a gently sloping hillside grove near Edith Wharton’s Italian Garden. Afterwards we’ll retire to the Terrace for refreshments.
Free and open to the public: everyone welcome, but reservations are strongly encouraged.
