South Berkshire Kids and The Mount, Edith Wharton’s Home, welcome you to enjoy a STORYWALK ® through the grounds at The Mount.

Please join us for a fun October day!

Enjoy the pleasures of reading and nature as you explore the grounds of The Mount and celebrate the Halloween season. Pages of the children’s book Little Boo by Stephen Wunderli will be posted along the Woodland Walk trail. South Berkshire Kids will be handing out fall-themed activity bags, geared towards children ages 2-6, which includes miniature pumpkins donated by Ward's Nursery & Garden Center.

Feel free to roam the rest of the property with your family before or after your walk. Keep in mind that the Woodland Walk is approximately 1/4 mile long with uneven terrain not suitable for strollers or people with accessibility concerns. 

Please note that upon registration, you will be signing up for a time slot to walk through the story. One ticket registers your entire family. If you cannot make your reservation and need to cancel, please call us at 413-551-5100, so we can open your space for another family!
