It starts with the sounds—creaking floors and slamming doors, fading footsteps down empty halls—a feeling of being watched, tingling taps on the shoulders, spectral shapes crouched in corners or gathered in front of fireplaces long gone cold. Tricks of the imagination in an old building … or something else?

Join us online as veteran tour guide Robert Oakes leads you through the darkened halls of The Mount, sharing tales of the many eerie encounters that have been reported here for years. Watch from the comfort and safety of your home as Oakes leads you, live, through some of the most haunted corners of the estate, including areas that are off-limits during our in-person tours.

Joining Oakes that night will be members of Bearfort Paranormal investigation group from West Milford, NJ, including founders Robert and Sandra Bandov, investigators Chuck Lehman and Timothy J. Dalton, and psychic medium Tracy McGrath. The team will combine research and scientific instruments with spiritual and psychic methods to investigate and understand the reported hauntings at The Mount. The Halloween ghost tours feature a stable tour at 8:00 p.m. and a house tour starting at 10:30 p.m. Feel free to choose either tour, or sign up for both!
