Join us online as Zach Adams from Mass Audubon guides us virtually through the sights and sounds of The Mount’s grounds.

Discover and learn to identify birdcalls, common nesting locations, and maybe even a bird sighting or too. Numerous bird species including warblers, woodpeckers, thrushes, wrens, swallows, and sparrows can all be found at The Mount. Please note that as this talk is hosted outdoors, the streaming quality may vary and movement around the property will be limited.

This instructional talk will help guide your own explorations of our grounds which remain open for public use. Please practice safe social distancing while you are here, and follow our Safety Guidelines.

Zach Adams is a teacher and naturalist for Mass Audubon’s Berkshire Sanctuaries where he leads birding, hiking, tracking, and canoeing programs, and enjoys teaching about nature from amphibians and birds to mushrooms and reptiles. He is passionate about ornithology and enjoys sharing his love of birds with everyone around him.

Dale Abrams is the Education and Volunteer Coordinator for Mass Audubon’s Berkshire Wildlife Sanctuaries. He is a life-long naturalist, birder, and wildlife tracker who has studied ecosystems from West Coast to the Rocky Mountains, and New England, where he has lived in the Berkshires for the past 17 years.
