Music After Hours with Misty Blues Band

July 17, 2020 @ 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm
The Terrace at The Mount
2 Plunkett Street Lenox MA 10240

Join us on the Terrace every Friday, July 3 – August 21, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. for lively evenings of free music played by the region’s most talented musicians. Celebrate the summer season with delicious food and drinks from the Terrace Café and Lucia’s Latin Kitchen, available for purchase.

Band founder and lead singer, Gina Coleman, entered the music scene in the early 90’s as the lead singer of the folk/rock group Cole-Connection. It wasn’t until 1999 when she played a gospel singer in the Williamstown Theatre Festival production of A Raisin in The Sun that she was steered down the path of blues. After actress Gwyneth Paltrow commented on her performance, Coleman knew a musical shift was imminent.

With a deficit of blues music in the Berkshires at the time, they felt the musical change would be well received. Misty Blues pays homage to the older blues made popular by the bold and brassy women of its time, while still paying respect to classic male artists of the 20’s, 30’s and 40’s. The core members are Gina Coleman, Jason Webster, Bill Patriquin, Jeff Dudziak, Ben Kohn, Rob Tatten and Aaron Dean.

PLEASE NOTE: PARKING AT THE MAIN HOUSE WILL BE LIMITED TO HANDICAPPED (with placard) PARKING ONLY.  Golf carts will be available to assist individuals with mobility concerns between the parking lot and Main House.
