Introducing Hilary and Jonathan.
This stunning couple said “I do” in early September. They chose to have their ceremony in the colorful French Flower Garden on Edith Wharton Estate. They celebrated their love with family and friends with a cocktail hour on the The Mount’s terrace overlooking the gardens followed by dinner and dancing on The Mount’s tent site.
Hilary and Jonathan meet during their sophomore year at collage.
“By serendipity, we were assigned to be lab partners in our organic chemistry class… the rest is history” – H&J
Hilary and Jonathan got engaged at the top of a mountain during a bucket list hike in their collage town prior to graduating from medical school.
“The view of the house from the garden is just stunning – the terraced landscaping, the gorgeous patio and the immaculate garden with a tree-lined walkway is reminiscent of a Capability Brown-style English Manor” – H&J
“Walking down through the tree-lined walkway at the conclusion of the ceremony was really memorable. It’s such a picturesque path – intimate yet majestic – and it could not have been a more perfect conclusion to the ceremony in the garden.” – H&J
“The Mount is gorgeous and has a huge variety of different spaces to occupy – the two gardens, the patio, the mansion itself, and the stables, not to mention our wedding tent itself. We loved the diversity of experiences that The Mount afforded us.” – H&J

“I have been coming to the Berkshires for my entire life, so many of the things I am most passionate about – most notably, classical music – were fostered in the Berkshires. What better place to get married!” – Jon
