Hours and Admission

The Mount is now open.

The Mount welcomes visitors daily through October 31.  The Terrace Café is open late May through October. The buildings and public gardens at The Mount will be open to the public on a daily basis from 10 am to 5 pm, except on the following early closing days, when the house will close at 1 pm and the grounds will close at 4 pm:

  • Saturday, September 6
  • Saturday, September 13
  • Saturday, September 20
  • Saturday, September 27
  • Saturday, October 11

Admission (applies from May 3-October 31, 2014)

Please note: the following admission fees include guided tours of the house and gardens; however, you may also view the house & grounds on your own. You may purchase general admission tickets on arrival; you do not need reservations for regular house or gardens tours. Adult: $18 Senior (65+): $17 Student (with valid ID): $13 American Icons: $29, $39, $49 Free admission for visitors 18 and under A Grounds Pass, including access to the outdoor SculptureNow exhibit, will be available for $12. Note: a Grounds Pass permits access to the property, bookstore, and cafe only; it does not allow access to the main floors of the house.

House and Garden Guided Tours

Guided Tours of the house and gardens are available from May through October.  Group tour rates are available with advance reservations.

Visitors are also invited to take self-guided tours through the house and gardens. Knowledgeable interpreters are always available to answer questions.
