    60 minutes

    This tour reveals the history of The Mount from its building to its restoration, and chronicles Wharton’s life and her remarkable achievements and legacy.

  • Garden Tour

    45 minutes

    This tour reflects Wharton's passion for natural beauty and discusses the design influence on The Mount's gardens. This tour involves walking and some stairs. For groups with mobility issues, we offer a garden talk on the Terrace.

  • Group Ghost Tours

    90 minutes

    By popular demand, The Mount offers private after-dark group ghost tours. This experience takes you to the most haunted parts of the estate and is not recommended for 12 and under.

  • Book Clubs

    What better place to talk of books and of writers than in the home of one of the best? We will create a sparkling day for your club; with, refreshments of your choice, and a skilled Wharton interpreter to lead your discussion.
