Pittsfield Native Joins Mount Board of Trustees

Lenox, Mass. (November 5, 2008) --  

Pittsfield native, John M. Gamberoni has joined the Board of Trustees of The Mount, the national historic landmark estate designed by Edith Wharton. Mr. Gamberoni is an Executive Partner for Accenture, a global management consulting company with over 186,000 employees in 49 countries. A leader in Accenture’s Global Customer Relationship Management practice, Mr. Gamberoni has led large scale business transformation strategies and technology implementations for both the government and the private sector.  He holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Massachusetts in Industrial Engineering and a Masters in Industrial/Systems Engineering from Northeastern University.

Mr. Gamberoni resides in Richmond, Massachusetts with his wife Catherine and three young daughters Siena, Ava, and Tessa. His interest in The Mount extends back many years.  “I have fond memories of visiting The Mount while growing up in the Berkshires and Wharton has always been one of my favorite authors”, he said. “I strongly believe that this is a special place, a testament to the brilliance of one of America’s greatest writers. It is a treasure that must be preserved.”
