We will experience the Morocco that mesmerized Edith Wharton, drawing upon her groundbreaking travel book In Morocco and scores of personal letters from her trip to North Africa. This intimate study tour includes admission to private homes, palaces, and gardens, and features the red and white cities of Rabat and Salé, medieval Fes, the Roman ruins of Volubilis, legendary Marrakech, and a rare chance to witness Berber traditions in the Atlas Mountains.
