Join author Roberta Silman and Matt Tannenbaum, the owner of The Bookstore, as they discuss Roberta’s new novel Secrets and Shadows. Giving audience members an inside look into the writing and research process, Roberta and Matt will delve into the inspiration for the book and the art of writing historical fiction.
Roberta Silman is the author of five traditionally published works of fiction. Her short stories have appeared in magazines including: The New Yorker, The Atlantic, Hadassah, Redbook, The Virginia Quarterly Review, and The American Scholar. She is a recipient of both Guggenheim and NEA Fellowships and has received numerous writing awards.
